The UPS Store offers a true Mailbox Service…not just a mailbox. Here’s what you get when you rent a mailbox from The UPS Store:
- A real street address that all carriers will deliver to. We receive deliveries from UPS, the Postal Service, FedEx, DHL, Lonestar and any other package delivery service.
- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week access to your mailbox. You will have a key to the front door and a key to your mailbox. You can check your mail at 3 o’clock in the morning, if that is your desire. (The main part of the store is closed off with a locked gate.) The mailbox area is well-lighted all night long, so you can feel safe if you check your mailbox when it is nighttime.
- Call in service. You are always welcome to call the store to find out if you have mail, instead of having to spend your time and fuel just to find an empty mailbox.
- Package arrival notification. If you are expecting a package and would like a phone call when it arrives, just tell us what to watch for and we will let you know when it gets to the store.
- Mail forwarding is available. Traveling? Going on vacation? We can send your mail to you wherever you are and as frequently as you like. (There is a forwarding fee, plus any packaging and postage/shipping costs.)
- Anonymity.
We have three different size mailboxes available. Small, medium and large.
- Small mailboxes are perfect for individuals who receive a relatively normal amount of mail and who check their mail regularly.
- Medium mailboxes are good for small businesses or those individuals and families who get a larger-than-normal amount of mail or periodicals.
- Large mailboxes are great for businesses that get a lot of mail or for individuals who can not pick up their mail for longer periods of time. Large mailboxes are big enough to hold the average size overnight carrier packages or boxes.
Fees:
- Small mailboxes are $15.00 per month
- Medium mailboxes are $20.00 per month
- Large mailboxes are $30.00 per month
- There is a one-time-only $10.00 set-up fee, regardless of the size.
The shortest mailbox contract we offer is for three months. If you pay for a six month contract you will get the 7th month FREE! If you pay for a one-year contract you will get the 13th and 14th months FREE!
To rent a mailbox you need to have two forms of ID. The first form of ID should be a government issued ID…a driver’s license or passport is normal. The second form of ID must be something “traceable”. (A credit card, bank card or social security card are NOT eligible.) There are many forms of secondary ID that can be used…Sam’s Club card, Costco card, library card, liability insurance card, utility bill, health insurance membership card are just a few of the forms of ID we CAN take.
